This free half-day event brings employers, community leaders, childcare professionals, and workforce partners together to look at the connection between work, family, and a thriving community.

Whether you are a business owner, HR professional, manager, or community leader, you’ll leave with practical ideas and local examples you can use to attract and retain employees, support working families, and strengthen your workplace.

Featured Speaker: Sara Blair, Country Maid

We are excited to welcome Sara Blair from Country Maid, recipient of the 2025 Best Place for Working Parents Innovator Award. Sara will lead two sessions focused on creating workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and connected.

The People Puzzle: Connecting Work, Family, and Community
Sara will share how Country Maid has connected benefits, policies, leadership, workplace culture, recognition, and community partnerships to create a workplace where employees feel heard and supported. You’ll hear what has worked, what they’ve learned along the way, and ideas you can take back to your own organization.

Reverse-Engineer the Culture You Want
This interactive workshop will help you move from ideas to action. You’ll look at the workplace culture you want to create, identify what is already working, and explore practical ways to strengthen connections between leadership, flexibility, family support, benefits, and community engagement. You’ll leave with fresh ideas and a next step you can put into action.
